My incredibly awesome husband MADE our tshirts for us. He cut out and ironed all of them by hand. On the back they said: We're Here. Rumor is now Reality He finished all ten tshirts at midnight but there was more preparation that had to be done.....
These were our name tags that looked pretty close to the real thang! Ours just didn't say "cashier" at the bottom.
My sweet childhood friend (our mom's were prego with us at the same time and we grew up together but live about an hour from each other now) came up and made the name tags for us.
We all met at the local Donut Store for coffee and donuts and to pass out the tshirts. We also awarded name tags with gold stars. I only had one and a half stars while most others had four stars. I think it was because I was caught shopping at Target.
Bob.....an awesome friend of ours.....very secure in his manhood to be the only man in our group of insane Walmartians. He is hilarious and according to him all the other men were a bunch of whimps!
When we were standing outside waiting for them to open, people kept asking us what time they opened because they thought we worked here. They even were asking us what aisles thing were down. We tried to help out if we knew the answer but most of the time we didn't!
It's okay that I wasn't invited to the Ribbon Cutting....I just found the "RIBBON" on the floor and had my own little private ceremony. It was special. It just didn't include those big honkin' huge checks they give out. I still don't get how you deposit those things.
